Q: How do I submit my song(s) for your review?
A: We do not accept unsolicited song submissions (and will not open them). But we are always looking for good songs. If you would like to submit a song(s) for review, please email us at info@chestnutburmusic.com and tell us about yourself. We want to know our writers. If we want a submission, we'll tell you where to send it.
Q: Do I have to have a radio ready or studio quality 3 song demo?
A. No. You may send only one song if you like. The quality has to be good enough to hear the song. Please send CD's rather than mp3's.
Q: Are you affiliated with a music performance rights organization?
A: Yes, ASCAP. If you are a BMI writer, please visit our sister BMI company Sleeping Porch Music Publishing at www.sleepingporchmusic.com. If unaffiliated, e-mail our umbrella company, Old Money Music at info@oldmoneymusic.com.
Q: What is your mailing address?
A: If we request materials from you, we will provide an address.
Q: Where are you located?
A: It doesn't really matter. We can perform all publishing functions by phone, fax, and email, and, as to face-to-face meetings -- we are 10 minutes from Philadelphia International Airport and approximately 2 hours from New York City.
